Hi, my name is Yuta Miyamoto. I’m eighteen years old. There are five people in my family. I have a younger sister and an elder sister. I’m getting along well with them, so I sometimes go shopping with them. My father’s job is a taxi driver, so he is quite familiar with the roads of my town. My mother is a housewife. She is very kind.

By the way, My hobbies are playing the guitar and listening to music. I used to play the guitar in a band. What kind of music do you like? I like rock music and other kinds of music. My favorite band is RADWIMPS. They are a Japanese rock band and their songs are very cool, so I want you to listen to their songs. If you know a good song, I want to know about it, so please let me know. These are my hobbies.

I also like baseball. I like watching a baseball game and also like playing baseball. I belonged to a baseball club when I was a junior high school student and an elementary school child. I was a pitcher and a first baseman. Do you like baseball? I want to play catch with you.

By the way, I want to go fishing in the sea or river, because I want to see foreign fish. I seldom go fishing, but I think this is a good chance to do that. I also want to eat some American foods. I will bring some Japanese foods. I hope you like them.

Golden week plans

My golden week plan is to go to my grandmother's house in Ozu. Ozu is in Kumamoto prefecture and near Aso. Sadly, I can't go to my grandmother's house recently,so I am looking forward to going there and seeing my grandmother. I last met her about four months ago. Ozu is surrounded by nature so air is fresh in there. I want to go to shopping, because Ozu has shopping mole.

My hobbies are to play the electric guitar and the electric bass and to listen to music. When I have free time, I play the guitar or bass. BR 1-04: The Bully

I chose this because It looked more difficult than a book which I had chosen before.
What I was interested in it was that a girl reflected on her bullies.

A girl who was called Rosie came to the school. however, she was not friendly. She bullied her classmates. Her classmates didn't like her. Classmates took Rosie to Chip's house, and they used "the magic key". It punished her. Then, When Rosie was bullied by big children, classmates saw it and told their teacher about Rosie and the bullies. The teacher went to help Rosie. Finally, Rosie made up with classmates.
I recommend this because this book's story is good.

My computer returned home

I had only one class. After the class ended, I ate lunch at school restaurant. Then, I went back home.
Today, I received my computer because I had sent it to a repair shop. Sadly, The computer's data was all erased because of repair. In addition, I didn't make backups of my computer's data at all, so I lost all data. I must have reinstalled applications which I had used before. Now,I finished most of them.
I keenly feel importance of backups, so I decide to make backups constantly.
If there is a person who don't make backups, I think he or she should make it.

I like DOES. DOES is a Japenese band. Members of DOES are Wataru Ujihara (Gt.&Vo.), Yasushi Akatsuka (Ba.), and Kesaku Morita(Dr.). Songs which I like are Donten, Syura and Bakuchi-Dancer. I can play Donten and Syura on the electric guitar. Their songs are simple but cool. A few songs used as the theme song of an anime. When I watched the anime, I heared their song for the first time. Then, I came to listen to their song. I want everybody to listen to their song, especially Donten, Syura, and Bakuchi-Dancer. I recommend DOES

It was raining when I came to KGU. However, It stopped raining while I was taking the first class. I took 3 classes today. First class was English linguistics on 1st class. I have no class on 2nd period, so I was free. I read a book on 2nd period. I ate lunch at school restaurant with friends of English major. After that, 3rd period was about personal computers. I was almost late for 4th period, because 3rd period finished too late. 4th period was British history. I learned about Celt.
Now, I'm in e-campus center with my friends, but I'm hungry, so I want to go home.

Today, I had 4 classes. Today's first class was political science. There are so many people in the classroom, so the room was noisy but the teacher didn't tell them off for noise. I learned about binary number system on 4th period, Philosophy. This class' theacher is funny, so I enjoyed this class. 5th period was anthropology. I learned about classification of religions and definition of religions. I had little interest in religions but I could have a little interest in it.

According to weather forecast, it'll rain tomorrow. I hate it but I'll stick it out.

I went to Hikarinomori to watch a movie with my sisters on last Saturday. We watched Gintama. It is my favorite comics. I have 33 comics of it. It is a comedy but it includes serious scenes. The movie was very good, we were satisfied with it. I recommend this movie, you had better go to watch it. After that, we ate lunch at restaurant in Hikarinomori. Then, I went to 4 stores looking for a CD of the theme song of this movie, however I couldn't find it. I was sad but I want to buy it someday.

Today is long-awaited sunny day. I left home without an umbrella, so I'm happy.
By the way, I learned about Hougen-monogatari on 3rd period. Hougen-monogatari is a classical literature of Japan. I couldn't understand well because it is written in archaic words. It's very hard for me to read a classical literature, so today's class was hard. The other classes were as usual.
It's Friday today. I recently feel as if a week was a few days. Time flies!

BR 1-03: Taxi Of Terror

I chose this because its cover looks interesting. I thought interesting that a man who is a passenger of a taxi was asked for fare by a driver finally, though he was a hostage.

Jack is a hero. Jack picked up a taxi. When the taxi stopped at a traffic light, a man pointed a pistol at a driver and came into the taxi. However, Jack phoned the police station and told police where he was. Finally, the man who hold a gun was arrested by police.

I recommend this. This is interesting because this is not so much a picture book as a comic

I began practicing the electric bass guitar recently. I have been playing the electric guitar for 4 years, so I thought I could play the bass guitar too. I had thought the bass guitar was similar to electric guitar, but it was wrong. When I play the bass guitar for the first time, I was tired because the bass guitar was heavier than the electric guitar.
Now, I can play a few songs on the bass guitar. However, there are still many techuniques which I can't do well on the bass guitar.

I read STUART LITTLE Stuart Set Sail in this week. I chose this book because STUART LITTLE is a famous character, so I thought it might be easy to understand. What I was interested in it is a scene which fish look like a whale and a rock look like a turtle for Stuart.

One day, Stuart and his family went to a lake, Stuart boarded his toy ship and explored in the lake.

I recommemd it because it's written in easy words, so I think it's easy to read for everyone.

BR 1-01: Stuart Little Stuart Hides Out

I chose STUART LITTLE Stuart Hides Out, because I have heard the name of Stuart little on TV before. What was interesting about it was the difference of a way of thinking a cat between a mouse
Stuart is a hero. He is a mouse played hide-and-seek with Snowbell which is a cat. Stuart hid in a flower vase which is on a high shelf, but Stuart could not get out from there. Stuart began to rock back and forth. The vase tipped to one side. Then it fell over and began to roll toward the edge of the shelf, but snowbell came there and saved Stuart.
I recommend this book, because hide-and-seek is very popular game in Japan too, so I think this book is easy to understand for everyone.

3rd period was ReadingⅢ. It was very sleepy, because the temperature of the room was comfortable.
