Make-up classes

I had two make-up classes in this morning. After I took Biology and Philosophy, I went back home.
I took the electric guitar to university today. Then I gave back to my friend and borrowed another guitar. He has many guitar and is good at playing the guitar very much.

Special Friday

I had two classes today. I have usually three classes but there is no class on third period because the teacher must attend academic meeting, so it is special Friday.
By the way, I saw lots of high school students in the Kenritsu-Gekijou on my way to buy lunch. because of exhibition called Soubunnsai. Soubunnsai is an exhibition for high school students around Kumamoto prefecture. There are lots of displays such as pictures, Japanese calligraphy. There is also performance of Koto which is Japanese traditional instruments with thirteen strings.
I have two make-up classes tomorrow though it is Saturday tomorrow. First period is Biology and second period is Philosophy. We will probably watch a video because we watch a video in the regular class. Philosophy is difficult. The content of the class is hard to understand and Philosophy's teacher is eccentric and comical. I have no idea to explain about him, however the class is interesting.

aiko

aiko is one of my favorite Japanese singers. My friend taught me aiko when I was a high school student. I first listened to Sakuranotoki on the internet. I was impressed with her voice, so I liked her at once. Then, I bought her album, Sakuranokinoshita. I like Ainoyamai and Sakuranotoki in the album. I bought her another album, Natsuhuku. In the album, there is her hit song, Boyfriend. Now, I have six albums at my home, but she released nine albums so I want albums I don't still have.

aiko is thirty-five years old and her birthday is December 22nd. Her blood type is AB. She is from Osaka. She is good at singing and drawing. She drew a picture of some jackets. She likes Umeboshi and Mentaiko. Her height is 152 centimeter (About 5 feet). She has good eyesight. Her favorite animal is dog, so there are some DVDs named Utauinu. Utauinu means "a singing dog" in Japanese.

aiko makes most of songs and write the words by herself. A song named Ashita is her debut song and only song which is not composed by aiko. There are pop song, ballad and rock in her songs. I think there are songs which you have heard before. I especially recommend Futari and Sakuranotoki. Futari is in an album, Himitsu. Sakuranotoki is in an album, Sakuranokinoshita

aiko is a little woman, but her live performance is powerful and exciting. I never been to her live but I have her live DVD box, DECADE. There are three DVDs in the DVD box. When I watched them, I thought I want to go to her live. If you watch them, you think you want to go her live.

BR 1-09: Simon And The Spy

I read SIMON AND THE SPY. I chose it because it looks interesting. It was interesting that a dog ate a letter which the spy looked for.

SUMMARY

Simon is at the station. There are policemen at the station because they look for the spy. Simon's train goes at 11.00, it is 10.57 now. He runs to the train. There is an old woman with umbrella near Simon. The old woman's bag hits Simon's foot. Simon's bag and the old woman's open and their things fall to the ground. A letter falls out. Simon puts the letter into his bag and runs into the train. The old woman runs after him. In the train, the old woman tries to get the letter back. After he gets off the train, he get on the boat and the old woman gets on, too. The letter is flown along the boat by the wind. The old woman and Simon run after the letter but it is a dog that catches the letter. The dog takes the old woman's coat in his mouth and pulls it. The coat falls to the ground and the wind takes the old woman's hat and her hair. It is not an old woman! It is a man. Police come there and catch him.
I recommend it because story is interesting.

BOC

BOC means BUMP OF CHICKEN. It's a Japanese band's name. BUMP OF CHICKEN is one of my favorite band. Members of BOC are Motoo Fujiwara (guitar, vocal), Hiroaki Masukawa(Guitar), Yoshihumi Naoi(Bass guitar), Hideo Masu(drums).

Motoo Fujiwara is called Fuji-kun. His birthday is April 12th. He composes most of their songs and writes the words. He has poor eyesight. He wants to be an immortal. Hiroaki Masukawa is called Hiro. His birthday is December 20th. He uses guitars which are for right-handed but he is originally left-handed. Yoshihumi Naoi is called Chama. The nickname "Chama" comes from a Japanese word Obochama's last five letters. Obochama means a rich person's child and he has treated his friend when he is a elementary school student, so he is called Chama. His birthday is October 9th. Hideo Masu is called Hide-chan. His birthday is August 10th. He made BOC and is a main vocal of secret track. He is funny.

They released 5 original albums, 1 edited album. Their masterpiece is Tentaikansoku. This song is very famous and is used eight guitars. 5 original albums are FLAME VEIN, THE LIVING DEAD, jupiter, Yugudorashiru and orbital period. In FLAME VEIN, I like Garasunoburuusu and Arue. In THE LIVING DEAD, I like K. In jupiter, I like Tenntaikannsoku and Dandelion. In Yugudorashiru, I like Syarinnouta and Girudo and Snow smile. In orbital period, I like Sainoujinnouennka and Planetarium. Edited album is present from you. This is B-side collection. In this album, I like Laugh maker.

Essay 1-02b: Guitar Brands

Guitar brands

Websites which I chose are homepages about the brand of the guitar. I chose Fender, Paul Reed Smith and Rickenbacker because I like the guitar and am interested in it. I have one cheap guitar at my home. The guitar brands I'm going to review are famous around the world. Many Japanese artists use them. I heard them from my friends.

Fender is very famous electric guitar brand on Stratocaster, Telecaster. Stratocaster and Telecaster are kinds of the guitar and different in body shape (Picture's left one is Stratocaster and right one is Telecaster). Fender has not only electric guitars but also has electric basses, guitar amps, bass amps and so on. There are series on electric guitar such as artist models, standard, American standard, Classic, and American Vintage. Bass guitars have also kinds of series. Guitar amps of Fender are famous, too. There are series on Fender amps such as Hot Rot, Vintage Reissue, Pro Tube and the like.

Paul Reed Smith is comparatively new guitar brand. Paul Reed Smith is sometimes written PRS. PRS's guitars are good quality. PRS has Acoustic guitar, solid body guitar, Hollow body guitar and electric bass guitar. There is a series on electric. It's SE series and SE series is a low price series. In artists' page, you can read articles about artists who use PRS' guitars and see a list of artists using PRS. For example, Orianthi, She uses PRS guitar and was a lead guitarist of Michael Jackson's back band.

Rickenbacker is a long-established guitar brand set up in 1913. The founder is Adolph Rickenbacker. In history page, you can read an article entitled The Earliest Days of the Electric Guitar. Rickenbacker has 300 series, 600 series, 700 series, 4000 series. All of Rickenbacker's guitars are handmade guitars. Making the guitars start from cutting the materials. This cutting work is also handwork. The world-famous artist, John Lennon used Rickenbacker 325(Picture's one). In Factory page, you can know about wood which is used the guitar.

I reviewed homepage about the guitar brands but there are other guitar brands in the world. These are a part of guitar brands. Fender is famous for Stratocaster and Telecaster. PRS is comparatively new guitar brand. Rickenbacker is a long-established guitar brand. I like Fender the best because I like Stratocaster's shape and sound. However, I don't dislike Rickenbacker and PRS, because Rickenbacker looks tasteful and PRS looks just high class. I think each guitar have each good points. When you buy the guitar, you should buy one you like. You can choose from its color or looks.

No sweet!!

Do you know meaning of "No sweet."? It means "Don't worry about that."

I learned this words from manga, Yotsuba& which I reviewed before. Yotsuba's father said "No sweet" when yotsuba spilled milk on the table. Yotsuba seemed not to understand what her father said, so her father taught her what "no sweet" meaned. After that, Yotsuba drew a picture on her sleeping father's face. Yotsuba tried to erase it but she could not erase it. Then She said "No sweet" and gave up erasing.

Surprised!

I was surprised at weather in this morning, because it was sunny today's morning though weather forecast said " it'll be rainy tomorrow. There are 90 percent chance of rain." I had thought I must go to KGU in the rain but I didn't have to put up my umbrella. I hope it will be sunny in the evening too.

BR 1-08: Ben and the Ghost

I chose Ben and the Ghost because it looks interesting. It was interesting that Ben mistook T-shirt for the ghost.
Ben and Tessa went to their grandparents' house because their parents went to a party. They caught in a shower on their way but they didn't have any umbrella with them so they got soaked. They changed their clothes into pyjama and hung up their wet clothes to dry in their bedroom. In the night, Ben and Tessa were sleeping but Ben woke up and saw the white ghost in the darkness. Ben yelled out "Ghost!!". Grandparents heard that and ran into bedroom and switched on the light. Everyone looked where Ben pointed his finger. What was there where he pointed his finger?

I recommend this because sentences were little difficult and it was a good training.

Eat/ Eating habits

My favorite food is curry with rice. I ate it yesterday and Today's morning. I sometimes eat it in school restaurant in KGU. School restaurant's curry is very good. I like spicy food. When I went to Aso, I bought some spicy food. as a souvenir. However, I also like sweets. I like a cream puff. It is very delicious. I sometimes buy and eat it as an afternoon snack.

My bass guitar

To tell you the truth, it is not mine. It is my friend's bass guitar. I've been borrowing it from my friend since I was a high school student. The bass guitar was originally owned by my friend's father when the father was a student. Then, the father came not to play it, so his father gave it to him. However, he didn't play it so he lent it to me. I thought I used it for recording, but I didn't use it very much. I felt it was useless not to play it, so I began to play it from last month. Now, I can play a few songs with a pick, but I cannot play it with my fingers.

By the way, I want to know about the brand of this bass guitar. I asked my friend who is familiar with guitars about my bass guitar, but he didn't know about that. I searched about it but I couldn't find out, so if someone knows the brand of this, Pelase let me know.

BR 1-07: Yotsuba& Vol.1

I chose YOTSUBA& Vol.1 because YOTSUBA& vol.6 was interesting and I wanted to read YOTSUBA& vol.1. It is interesting that Yotsuba went to catch cicadas with her friend, Ena and Jambo. they caught a lots cicadas and she released them in Ena's house when they came in the home.

SUMMARY

Yotsuba moved to a town and got to know her neighbor, Ena, Fuuka and Asagi. Then, Yotsuba went to catch cicadas and stuck in a bathroom because of trouble of the key and drew Ena's portrait.

I recommend it because it is interesting that Yotsuba is mischief.

BR 1-06: Yotsuba& Vol.6

I chose YOTSUBA& (YOTSUBATO) because it's originally a Japanese comic. It is translated into English. It was interesting that a five-year-old girl who named Yotsuba went to her neighbor's elementary school by bicycle.

SUMMARY

A heroine is a five-year-old girl, Yotsuba. She is curious. There are some stories in this book. For example, Yotsuba goes to buy a bicycle with her father and goes somewhere by the bicycle. Another example, Yotsuba gathers something people don't need anymore and makes them something which is useful again.

I recommend it because the stories are interesting and I could read it steadily.

Aso

Do you know Mt.Aso??
Mt.Aso is one of the largest caldera in the world. It is an active volcano in the east of Kumamoto prefecture and is a famous sightseeing spot in Japan,so many people visit there.

On May 4th, my mother ,My two sisters and I went to Mt. Aso and Aso farm land . First of all, We went to a crater of Mt.Aso at 10 in the morning. It was a first time for me to saw the crater. I had been to Mt.Aso before, but I couldn't see the crater at that time, because Mt.Aso emitted poisonous gas, so I was glad to see the crater. When I saw it, I thought that it was very beautiful. It was emerald green and it was the most beautiful green color I have ever seen. It was sunny the day, so I felt comfortable. We went there in the morning, so there were few cars, but when we moved to next destination, there were so many cars. After that, we went to Aso Farm Land. We looked at souvenirs there. There were lots of souvenirs related to Aso and Kumamoto. After we saw the main souvenirs, we ate lunch. We had bought some food for lunch the day before, but we bought food there too. I ate deep fried rice ball, charcoal grilled chicken and breads. Then, we went back to our house via my grandmother's house.
I had a very very good day. This trip was something pleasant to look back on.


By the way, do you know this building in the picture. I took this picture near the crater of Mt.Aso.This is used in emergency.


This is a shelter. If Mt.Aso erupt, we can take refuge into it. There are lots of shelter near the crater. I was very suprised at it, because I had not known about it.

Travel to my grandmother's house

I went to my grandmother's house in Ozu with my mother and two sisters by train. My father couldn't come together because of his job. Ozu is in the east of Kumamoto prefecture and is surrounded by nature. After we got to Ozu, we moved to a shopping center and bought some food for dinner there. I bought pants there. To my surprise, the pants were sold at seventy percent off, so I could buy it only 1000yen. then we went to grandmother's house. We exchanged greeting with my grandmother and my uncle. After that, we went shopping again. I bought a book and my sister bought a DVD. After shopping, we went back to my grandmother's house and ate dinner. After I took a bath, I went to bed at about one in the morning.

Gintama

Have you heared Gintama??
Gintama is a Japanese manga written and illustrated by Hideaki Sorachi. It's a serialized comic on weekly Shonen Jump. The story of Gintama sets in the age of Edo, Japan which was conquered by Alians called Amanto. There is a little eccentric guy who has curly hair and sweet tooth. His name is Gintoki Sakata(picture's guy). He has fought against Amanto before. Now, he practices a freelancer business with Kagura and Sinpachi. Kagura is a young alian girl of Yato Clan. Yato Clan is one of strongest Amanto. Shinpachi is a Japanese boy.
This manga is basically comedies but sometimes has moving stories. I knew just title about 4 years ago because one of my friends liked Gintama. I first read it last year, then I had interest in it.
You should read it. I recommend it.

BR 1-05: The Wrong Men

I chose this because the name of title looks funny. I was interested in that Steve who is a policeman hit a killer and the killer fall down a rock.
This story is in Australia. Two men plotted to kill the Police Commissioner. Steve was sent to catch the killer. Steve met Sally who worked for a newspaper there. They looked for the killer in cooperation. Finally, the killer was arrested. Then, Steve loves Sally. Sally also loves Steve.
I don’t recommend this because this book’s picture is not good for me.
