I’m going to tell you about my language learning experiences. I have studied three languages before, including Japanese. I have ever learned English, French and Japanese. I learned Japanese in elementary school, junior high school and high school. I started studying English when I was a junior high school student. I started studying French last year at KGU and studied it for a year.
I first studied English when I was twelve years old and a junior high school student. Before the first English class, I was waiting for the class with eager anticipation. I was looking forward to studying English because that was my first time to study a foreign language. First I was taught how to read and write the alphabet. The sentence that I studied first was “Hi, I am Yuki.” My teacher made me remember the sentences on a textbook. In junior high school, I learned basic grammar and pronunciation. I also learned English in high school. In high school, I learned about more applied English than when I studied in junior high. I started reading longer sentences in high school. I improved my vocabulary because I need vocabulary to read long sentences. I studied for the National Center Test for University Admission. I like studying English. It is interesting for me to learn English.
There was a Japanese class in elementary school, junior high and high school, so I learned Japanese from elementary school to high school. In the class, I learned a lot of things related to Japanese. For example, I studied kanji which is a Chinese character used in China, South Korea and Japan and so on. I must remember readings and how to write of kanji. To remember them, I wrote them down again and again. It was hard for me to remember a lot of kanji. There is a difference in the way to study kanji. In elementary school, the teacher taught us how to write kanji and stroke order, but in junior high and high school, the teacher didn't teach us how to write kanji and stroke order. They gave us homework to study kanji and we did homework and remember them.
I started studying French when I entered KGU, because I selected French as a third language. In the first French class, teacher taught us pronunciation of the alphabet. French and English both use the same characters, but the way to pronounce is different, so it was difficult for me to pronounce French “r” sound. French is similar to English in grammar. There are words that are like English words in French. I think French is more difficult than English, because French has muscline noun and feminine noun. When I remember French words, I must know if the each word is muscle noun or feminine noun. I had wanted to learn French one more year, but I couldn’t take the French class because there is Writing class at the same period as French class. I liked studying French. It was good for me to learn language other than English. My favorite French word is "Bonjour" It means "hello" in English. In addition, I like French words including "ç" because I feel French words when I see "ç" It was interesting for me to learn French, so it was pity for me that I could not take French class. Now, I don't want to take French next year because I have gap of a year if I take French next year, so I won’t remember what I learned when I was a freshman. It was last year that I learned French, so I don't remember French now.
As you can see, I have learned three languages before. I have been studying Japanese for 12 years. I first learned English when I was a junior high school student. I learned the alphabet then. I studied French last year. My favorite language is English, because English expressions are interesting for me. I don't have any language that I want to study, because now I want to know English more. I don't understand even English completely, so I don’t think I can understand other language.

December 26th was a freezing day. It began to snow in the afternoon. It was really cold, but I went to Yusuke's house because that day was the last chance to see him this year. I was slow to get ready to go, so I was late to arrive in Yusuke's house. When I went near Yusuke's house, my friends went to find me in the cold because I was too late. I felt sorry to make them waiting in the cold. AAR, I joined my friends. After we called in a convenience store, we went to Yusuke's house. We ate a chocolate cake that we had left the day before. After that, we didn't have anything to do in particular. I played the acoustic guitar. We talked a lot. My friend ate curry rice that we had made the day before and said "this is more delicious than yesterday's one." I was glad to hear that. When we went outside to go home, it was snowing hard. There was a snow on the roof of the cars. Children in the neighborhood were yelped with delight. It reminded me of my childhood like these children. No matter how old I get, I was happy when I saw snow. Then we talked a little outside a building. Finally, I went home. Two pictures above are taken by me. I was impressed by the snow because I took pictures. They may be hard to make out because I took pictures in the dark.
